ABOUT US

Reineke Construction Personnel Tatro Reineke Teaching

Since July 2005, Reineke Construction has specialized in trail design, construction, and maintenance; trailhead facility improvements, campground construction, watershed restoration, and forest management. The company’s founders, Margie Tatro and Mark Reineke, are a husband and wife team with over 50 years of combined experience in project management and hands on construction. Mark is a licensed professional engineer in the state of New Mexico and a Charter Member of the New Mexico Forest Industries Association. Reineke Construction has been an active member of the Professional Trail Builders Association since 2006 and Margie has served as a member of the board of directors for PTBA.

Reineke Construction’s focus is on recreational land improvements that increase general awareness of the earth’s natural resources and enhance sustainable access to these resources. Our specialty is well-designed and constructed trail systems, safe and well-structured trail access points, and natural system restoration. We pride ourselves on high quality workmanship, provided through a cooperative, partnering relationship with our clients.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Woman-owned, limited liability Corporation, incorporated in the state of New Mexico in July 2005
  • New Mexico construction licenses GS-8, GB-98, and GF-98
  • Licensed professional engineer in the state of New Mexico
  • Member of the Professional Trail Builders Association
  • Charter member of the New Mexico Forest Industries Association
  • Member of the Quivira Coalition
  • Comfortable working as an independent contractor or cooperatively with volunteers on joint projects

  • Over 15 years of trail design, maintenance and building experience
  • Experienced in training, leading and developing volunteer organizations

Michael-John Harcharik (Operations Manager)

  • Paramedicine Certificate, University of New Mexico School of Medicine, and over 12 years of experience
  • Trails specialist
  • Experienced equipment operator
  • Climbing arborist experience

 Ryan Reineke (Crew Leader)

  • Bachelor’s degree in fine arts
  • Experienced U.S. Forest Service forestry technician (trails, helitack, and wildland firefighting)
  • Experienced equipment operator
  • Welding and chainsaw proficiency
  • First aid and CPR knowledge

EQUIPMENT

Equipment for trail building and watershed restoration projects is diverse and can be transported to work sites. In addition, we pride ourselves in partnerships with clients, suppliers and volunteers, as appropriate for the project.
